I am new to the transgendered society.
I may say or ask childlike questions; My apologeze. And until John told me he was a transgendered M-T-F I didn't know what that was. So I did the only think I could do... Research! Knowledge is Power!
I first met John in January at the Wal-Mart where I worked and from the very moment we met I was blown away by how much we had in common, how we could start and finish each other
sentences and even how we could tell what each other was thinking sometime (it was weird). John is extremely attentive to my needs. That is one of the many reasons why I Love him so much. I can't imagine my
life without John in it.
We have always had an open relationship; I have known about Shelby (John's female side) since our first date, I was not shocked or upset at the time, Remember; I didn't
know what transgendered meant.
Shelby is like a child, who likes to play dress up. She loves to go shopping, I have a hard time dealing with the idea of going out with Shelby, she still has very
masculine facial features, so as an allowance we go shopping as John and Jet (me) and if he sees something Shelby likes I try it on, we are also the same size, When we go home later Shelby tries it on
(Usually fits perfectly) and we talk and hang out for a while.
Shelby can be deceitful at times and controlling, at times. It's almost as if she and John are two different people. Is that possible?
My big problem with all of this is: I don't know how to deal with all the feeling I have inside for John, and the feeling I have for Shelby, (they are different
feelings) and the operation they want to make it more permanent for Shelby. Maybe other SO's out there feel the same way I do and we can help each other though the mixed emotions, and maybe in the
process help our Significant Others.
I guess the reason for this letter is to teach me and well as Educate other newbies like me to cope and help where we can. Any advice will be helpful and appreciated:
